Evidence of Spirits
Victorians were big believers in the paranormal, but they had a different name for it- Spiritualism. They were even trying to make contact with the dead. We share with you the their tales, old and new, as well as audio, photos and video we’ve collected over the last decade. Bring your camera and discover for yourself. Did any trace of the old Spiritualists ever return, to keep their promise- and send us a sign?
Our tour begins on the north end of town with a visit to our most famous cemeteries, making our way south to the once-grand Ponce de Leon Hotel where seances were held, and ending at the home of an old Governor where hauntings have been reported since the 1800s.
